We manufacture preheaters for drying moisture and increasing the temperature of saturated or superheated steam according to customer standards and requirements.
Preheaters can be installed in either horizontal or vertical positions.
These heat exchangers consist of a shell (cylindrical or rectangular) containing a tube bundle fixed into a tubesheet.
The different thermal expansion of the shell and tubes can be compensated either by a thermal expansion compensator on the exchanger shell, U-tubes for clean liquids (where cleaning is difficult), or floating heads that can expand independently with temperature changes.
Preheaters are manufactured from a wide variety of materials according to the environment and the type of media.
The design of preheaters can include fixed tubesheets, floating heads, or U-tubes.
These constructions may include shell expansion compensators, clad tubesheets, and various types of baffles to increase efficiency.
We also supply preheater components such as tube bundles (straight or U-tubes) with clad or overlayed tubesheets.
Tube-to-tubesheet joints can be strength-welded, strength-expanded, or a combination of both.
The delivery of the preheater includes complete accompanying documentation with all required certificates and test reports, including the pressure vessel passport.
