These heat exchangers consist of a shell (cylindrical or rectangular) containing a tube bundle fixed into a tubesheet.
The thermal expansion difference between the shell and the tubes can be compensated either by a thermal expansion compensator on the shell or by U-tubes (for clean fluids, where cleaning is difficult), which allow independent expansion.
Coolers are manufactured from a wide range of materials according to environmental conditions and media type.
Designs may include fixed tubesheets, floating heads, or U-tubes.
Additional components may include shell compensators, clad tubesheets, and various types of baffles to improve efficiency.
We also supply individual cooler parts such as tube bundles (straight or U-tubes) with clad or overlaid tubesheets.
Tube-to-tubesheet joints may be strength-welded, strength-expanded, or a combination of both.
The cooler delivery includes complete accompanying documentation with all required certificates and test reports, including a pressure vessel passport.
